Dad: Ghost-san started crying... after crying for so long, he made a puddle. "Ball-chan...where have you gone?" "Ghost-chan~". Opening his eyes, he saw Ball-chan in the puddle. "Ball-chan... you're in the water?". "I'm always with Ghost-chan!". Ball-chan had come to him while on his way home. He couldn't see, but Ball-chan was behind Ghost-chan the whole time. "Ball-chan you were with me the whole time?". "Yup! I'm home Ghost-chan!". "Welcome home Ball-chan". They got along better with each other and were able to make a lot of friends. *Back to original flashback Yakumo: Oh... Yakumo: Why....why does she always go to me like this...? *Card says "Sorry Yakumo" Yakumo: Even though she can't do anything... she always treats me so importantly.....Nee-chan **sobbing** *End all flashbacks* Yakumo: We ended up all alone.Nee-san should have been so lonely but she alwaysso warm and caring to me. Ghost: I wonder if those words are the truth...let's meet again *Ghost vanishes *Scene change to Harima and Tenma Tenma sleeptalk: I love you Harima: This is just like that time.... Tenma: ...Karasuma-kun... *Tenma wakes up Tenma and Harima: AHHHH!!! Harima: Wait!! NO!!! It's not what you think!! You were sleeptalking and then you... DWAH!! Tenma: DWAH?! Harima: Yea!! And then you got me into a full nelson.... Tenma: I what?! There's no way I'd do something like that!! You LIAR!! Harima: I'm not lying!!! Tenma: Wait... this seems familiar... Tenma: This happened before...I'm sure of it...ummm......ummmm..... *Rewind sequence Tenma: AHHHH!!!! Now I remember!! Could it be that you're that pervert?! Harima: AHHHHH!! *Commercial Harima: AHHHHH!! *repeat* Tenma: I'm right arent I!! Admit it!! Harima: No, you're wrong. It's as you say - I'm sorry for hiding this from you - I'm the pervert from that time *bows* Tenma: I knew it!! Harima: Wait!! I'm that pervert but I'm not a real pervert!! That was a misunderstanding!! Tenma: All you can do is lie!! Harima: Please listen!! I didn't think that you'd ever listen to me about it before but... Harima: I was hiding my identity but I wasn't intending to do anything bad! There is another reason Tenma: Another reason....? Harima: I...I want to be with you.... *Harima cell phone interrupts Harima: Damnit what the hell could it be now?? Harima: Hello? Editor guy: Ah, Tazawa-kun! How's it going? Harima: Ah-- it's ok.... Editor guy: I'm begging you!! This is the 11th hour!! By the way did you hear? There was a big event! Nijou-sensei got into a jiko! (jiko means accident). We were surprised to hear about it too! Er... anyways... do your best!! Bye! *Editor guys hangs up Tenma: Did something happen? Harima: No...nothing... Flashback Tenma: Karasuma-kun... Harima: No, it's not nothing!! Tsukamoto, please stay calm about this but... the truth is that Karasuma got into an accident Tenma: Eh...? *Tenma crying Harima: Let's go Tsukamoto....to him Harima to himself: What the hell am I doing? It was such a dreamlike situation, I never thought something like this would happen... Tenma: What should I do....what should I do....??? Karasuma-kun is... Harima to himself: Don't cry Tenma-chan! What happened to Karasuma? Itoko: He's fine, he's with Tsukamoto right now Harima: I see...good... Harima to himself: So this is as far as my love goes huh...be happy - Tenma-chan! I was hoping for things to happen, but as usual, everything is sunk in ambiguity.
Guess not.  A very important revelation about this ep, as I see it, however, is that Yakumo indeed has feelings towards Harima (can we say  ?) but simply can't get herself to act because she's prioritizes her Nee-san more. That's why I'm really rooting for Yakumo - I hope she gets her man someday, because she's done a lot and at the very least she deserves who she wants. If it doesn't end by the third season though, it will get boring and repetitive. I know this isn't shared by many here, but really - I think it will get downright ugly if it keeps on ending like this. |

Just wondering......So Yakumo never really say that she like harima? It's the Ghost assuming all of that right? yakumo didn't seem to say if it was a yes or a no reguarding her love for harima. can anyone clear it up for me? confuse about it all.

There are many ways one can take it in. Here's mine, definitely Onigirist in nature but still cogent and pertinent enough (that's what I think, anyway )Since the Japanese treasure shamanism (and this started very early in the history of Japan) one can assume that the spirit or ghost was the avatar of Yakumo's consciousness - a very symbolic form of soliloquy, with Yakumo being her rational ego and the ghost being her questioning id (if I've used that correctly) expressing her true desires, with her ego in conjunction with her super-ego stifling it in simply because she knows Harima likes Tenma (another revelation for her that she has accepted only recently). This would confirm two things - one, that she, in a sense, loves Harima if we believe in the phrase that 'silence denotes affirmation' usable even in law, if I remember correctly. Does she have to say anything when the ghost spouts it all up herself? Second, she's pretty torn up inside because although she likes Harima, she knows that Harima likes Tenma and she wants Tenma to end up with the best. Despite her feelings for Harima she does not act because she hopes and prioritizes Tenma over herself - she knows that Harima would be among the best (if not the best) guys for her sister, and since Harima likes Tenma already ... it's a very painful sacrifice, but not unknown in human society. That reminds me of The Tale of Two Cities ... :'( @Bear No, I haven't heard of anything as of yet. |
