Much like the School Rumble Trading Cards in later volumes, the Report Cards appear as bonus material in volume 3 of the manga. There are a total of ten report cards, all except Tsukamoto Yakumo belonging to students from class 2-C.

[edit] Report Card Layout

Each card includes a list of subjects the student is studying, their grade in each subject, a comment from a teacher, and a comment from the student themselves. Only Tsukamoto Tenma's report card includes a specific reference to the teacher making the comment (Sasakura Youko). However, judging from the reference to a letter in the comment on Harima Kenji's report it seems reasonable to suppose that all unspecified comments are made by the students' homeroom teacher-Tani Hayato in the case of 2-C students.

[edit] Grading Scheme

With the exception of Karasuma Ooji, all characters receive grades based on a standardized scale, but unlike other common grading schemes in School Rumble grades are indicated by a picture of one of four animals. The possible grades in order from best to worst are as follows:

• Dragon - Outstanding!!!
• Lion - Excellent work
• Elephant - Very good
• Turtle - Try a little harder

It should be noted that only Takano Akira and Ichijou Karen received Dragons for Mathematics and Gym respectively,

By assigning numerical values to each animal grade it is possible to compute a grade point average (GPA) for each character and thus have some means of comparing their performance. For the purposes of this exercise the following numerical equivalents were used:

This method results in the following GPAs for each character in order from highest to lowest:

Karasuma cannot be included, of course, because his grades do not follow any intelligable scale. Additionally, it may be incorrect to include Yakumo since she is in a different class than the others.
